Copper is a non- ferrous and non- magnetic 100% recyclable metal. Physical properties of Copper scrap metal are not lost during the recycling process and it can be recycled indefinitely. It is estimated that approximately 80% of the Copper ever mined is still in use today. It is the third most recycled metal after iron and aluminium.
